S2 engine timing

I was going to drive it as a reward for getting is started but no clutch.....
The slave cylinder seems to be leaking so i'm looking to track one down i have done some research which has led me to a part number Mazda 4084-41-920. Does that sound right?
Originally the van would have had a cable clutch so i'm assuming the whole hydraulic system has been fitted, seems sensible to change both cylinders?

I have a newer Mazda truck (1988) and have had several clutch hydraulic issues in the 27 years I've had it. So my current practice is to replace both if there's a clutch hydraulic issue. For my truck, these are not expensive. However, since your vehicle has a grafted-on hydraulic clutch system, and you're in Australia, getting correct part(s) may be an issue.

Cusser, that is hitting the nail on the head! In the states they are cheap enough, I'm guessing there was a fair volume of the cars produced for the US.
In Australia they were mostly sold as ford couriers and there wasn't that many. Getting anything delivered here is expensive, if they will even do it, increasingly suppliers won't send parts out of the US. I'm still trying to get a manual sent here and i only want the engine wiring!
Regarding the master cylinder, on closer inspection the parts i see online look different from the one fitted into my van, mine reservoir and hydraulic hose are at right angles to each other! Any ideas what that is off?

I'm in Arizona, and I haven't seen any of "my type" 1986-1993 Mazda trucks on the road for 6 months, and none of the earlier ones or Ford Couriers for years.
