Default Side Marker Lights Come On By Themselves??

I notice that my side marker and parking lights turn on by themselves. If I wiggle the turn signal indicator switch (where the headlight switch is), the accessory and side markers will flash on and off, and turn off. If I leave it alone for a couple of hours, they automatically come on. Not the headlights, just the side marker lights and dash illumination.

Could this just be a short in the wires going to the headlight switch?

More likely the headlight switch part of the combination switch. Be aware that there are two versions of this switch, see Head light switch information

dude you are a wizard! By the way, thank you so much for your help with the ignition stuff in my previous post. Turns out is was a faulty ignition switch!
