Mazda BT 50 & Pickup Trucks While Mazda may not be known for their trucks, they have always produced quality reliable trucks for both hauling cargo, or simply crusing. BT 50

Yeah, that is about as good as you can get for engine oil.
I run it in this rig along with a quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer.

The engine is pretty much spotless
Thinking of buying a complete new head with adjustable valve train to eliminate the hydraulic business. There is one hydraulic lash unit that ticks driving me nutz.
I know that the adjustable rockers make noise too, but they are quieter than one annoying tick.
A new head on Ebay is around $300. Everything is also new. Cheap!

Continued

Nice stainless tubes

Might make a good anchor for a small boat. Sort of heavy and no longer needed

Total hose confusion... Sort of sad though, this carb worked the best out of any stock Mazda carb I ever had

Same place with a fresh look.

I wonder if there's an aftermarket system for PS for my truck... Hmmmm...
I found an SE-5 B2600i Cab Plus on a farm outside of town that the owner let me take lots of parts from -- both front bucket seats, back flip-down seats and backrests, deluxe door skins with map pockets, seat belts, tach gauge cluster, center console, chrome window sill trim, chrome side mirrors, etc.

But that's not the most important part... His B2600i has A/C and P/S. I'm not sure if his P/S setup will work with my B2200 though, so I left it but I can go back if I want to. I'm guessing that some of will while some of it won't. Don't know what will or won't work with my truck though. Anyone know?

All of the PS stuff will work.
I think the engine brackets from the 2.6 to the 2.2 are different. That would be the only difference if I am not mistaken.
I'm sure you know that the 2.6 is a Mitsubishi engine.

I thought that the B2600i was a Mazda engine and the B2600 (no "i") was the Mitsubishi engine.

Yes.

Boozehero - see photo of yours with my arrows. I understand that you are not yet completely finished with the Weber install. Hoses with red arrows can be eliminated with a Weber; for the pair up front you may need to make a block off plate from a piece of steel. The plastic hose (yellow arrow) likely will melt with engine temperatures and will not be resistant to the exhaust (use fuel line). The blue arrow points to a plastic fitting which should be attached to the PCV valve on the top of the valve cover (use fuel line). On my B2200, I have the carb port with the orange arrow connected to the canister.
