Default Suicide Door Problems

Im in need of some serious help with my suicide doors. I installedthe hinges onmy 91 b2200 extra cab. Ithought it was all good.the door didnt sag,but it started to touch the cab. The door only opens half way. If you can help me I would really like that. Its hard to do something that know one can help you with. Thanks

Default RE: Suicide Door Problems

Those things aren't simply bolt in place....well, not if you want them to fit properly they aren't. You may have to shim the door around on hinges, and you may have to alter the sheetmetal of your door to get it to fit properly.

Any pics? If I can see how the hinges attach to both the body and the door, I may be able to suggest where you need to shim to adjust the fit.
