you should have a dip stick for your tranny, put couple of liters in the tranny then start it let it get to operating temp then check the level again with the dipstick add accordingly, as for the transfer case its under the truck on the back of the transfer case about 3/4 of the way up,to check level pull the plug and stick your finger in it if you feel fluid your good if not add.

He has a manual no dip stick, no warming up, it should take 3.2 Liters or 3.4 Quarts. There should be two square plugs on the driver side the factory procedure is to use the one closer to the front of the truck to fill the tranny until it starts to drip out of the rear plug.
I don't own a 4x4 but with the 2wd trucks it is far easier to remove the shifter and fill it from there. It looks like the transfer case is integrated and will fill at the same time.

if you fill it from the tranny it will take about 4 hours to fill cause it has to squeeze through the hole were your shifter runs, pop the plug and fill it from the transfer case. i missed the manuel part, sorry

I just changed the gear oil in trans and t-case in my 1991 B2600 4x4 about a week ago. For trans, I removed fill plug then two drain plugs (front then rear) on drivers side of bottom of trans, let oil drain and cleaned the magnets on the plugs. Reinstall front drain plug. I purchased a cheap manual pump from parts store ($8) and pumped gear oil into the forward fill plug till oil ran out the rear drain. Install rear plug and fill until fluid level even with bottom of fill hole (ie no more will go in). Replace fill plug. For t-case I removed the skid plate that is below the fill/drain. I removed fill plug, drained the fluid, cleaned the plug and put it back in. I then filled the t-case the same way as I did the trans. This took about an hour and used less than two gallons of oil. Don't forget to drive the truck to warm up the fluid before you change it, and put it in 4x4 if applicable to warm t-case fluid. Also to minimize mess don't forget to vent the component by removing the fill plug before drain plug.
