Was wondering if it was possible to put the transmission that is on my 99 Mazda B2500, onto my 90 Ford Ranger. Ranger is a 2.4 l Mazda is a 2.5 l. Both 4 cylinder Manual Transmission Trucks. Same engine except Mazda has 2 coil packs, and bigger cylinders. Same engine basically.

Could I just swap the bell housings on the transmission? As in. Put the ranger tranny bell housing on my Mazda transmission???
