Webber on a B2200 Jets Question
I plan to install a 32/36 Webber onto my 92 B2200 but do not know what will be the best jets set-up to fuel economy with some power, have 5spd. manual trans, motor was rebuilt abot two years ago, have headders with 2" exhaust, no cat and superturbo mufrler.
Any coments will be appreciated....

RE: Webber on a B2200 Jets Question
I have a Weber 38 on a 2600 and it was WAY too fat from the factory. It could probably use jets about 4 sizes smaller. That would put the adjustment screws closer to where they need to be. With my setup though, I'm still getting over 14mpg.

RE: Webber on a B2200 Jets Question
Well the weber 38 is pretty much designed to be a race carb and on a B2200 would only be good if you where wanting performance only as it would never get good gas mileage on such a small engine. Some of the members on my site are getting 25-30 mpg with a strong engine and a weber bolt on, the weber 32/36 will come with a default jetting but nobody has ever had any real reason to rejet one. I havn't seen a 32/36 in person but if fuel economy is what your worried about you may be able to get a double venturi booster from a holley 5200 to fit which would increase the booster signal and help with better economy, although it might require a smaller primary jet or different air bleeds to get the best result afterwards.
