Mazda BT 50 & Pickup Trucks While Mazda may not be known for their trucks, they have always produced quality reliable trucks for both hauling cargo, or simply crusing. BT 50

I put 235/50/17 Firestone tires on them. I bought all four tires for 100 dollars but one peeled apart on the highway after about a month. Firestone sux!

Eagle wheels have since gone outta business. I paid 70 dollars for all four of 'em on Craigslist.

OMG Cuss, that pic is hilarious!
How do those 17s ride as compared to your stock 14s? Any rougher or can you tell any difference?

Rides NICE, 'cept for the offset puts the tires beyond the fenders. Harder on the wheel bearings, but no problems as of yet. The 14" wheels just don't look good on these and 14" tires are getting harder to find anymore.
1 and 1/2 inch drop blocks in the back and turned down the front torsion bars. I had to shave the bump stops somewhat to get more suspension but I really haven't had the tires contact the fenders.., much, 'cept for extreme cornering over a big bump. I get a little contact but not much enough to cause damage.

These are my 14" wheels. They don't look too bad IMO. So far, the suspension height is stock.

NICE Lizard King. IDK, most vehicles nowadays have bigger wheels and tires that fill up the whole wheel well.

Therefore.., in order to get that "more modern look?" We find ourselves that have these older cars/trucks trying to fool the average onlooker by using bigger rims and tires to.., "DROP it DOWN,"

All the while sacrificing suspension travel. I even went with Isuzu p/up shocks in the front, but I really don't see the diff.

The problem with bigger wheels is that the speedometer and odometer are significantly off from actual values.
