CX30 How comfortable are the seats?
I test drove quite a few vehicles today and I like the CX30 the most based on my notes, but the Crosstrek is pretty close contender and I am flip flopping between which one I think I want. I took notes during my test drives and I was able to write up pros and cons of each and major likes and dislikes. I think I narrowed down my only real hangup with the CX30 is my concern about seat comfort on long drives. I noted the seats were kind of soft and didn't seem to offer much support (although using the lumbar feature made things nice). The seat was comfortable enough on my 30 minute test drive, but I was wondering if they stay comfortable on longer drives. Can anyone whose had one for a while comment on overall seat comfort?
I am not a big person. I am a 5'6" 145 pound woman. I add that only because I noticed that a lot of seat comfort complains I've read (mainly about the CX5) are from taller men.
Thanks!

I have a 2021 CX-30. I am 5'11", weigh 210, male. The longest drive I have done is 300miles. I find the seats quite comfortable. My wife says the passenger seat is very comfortable. I have not had to use the lumbar support.

I just got my 2021 CX-30. The lumbar support and the many ways you can customize the seat height, location, etc. Is quite comfortable. I will comment I am a little larger than you and "thick" and I feel like the seats are a little narrow. Not horribly so, but noticeable. Hope this helps.

CookieMonster, this may not be much help to you, since I’m a 6’2” bloke, but I’m finding the 30’s seats really comfortable. After some years of driving an Audi A5 (which I found ridiculously comfortable), and taking a few days to recalibrate my butt-o-meter, the CX 30’s seats are my new favourite, particularly for long trips. I regularly do 300 - 400 kilometre (185 - 250 mile) trips and I don’t creak when I get out of the car at the end. Which, considering I’m 62, and starting to pay the price for playing competition squash in my late teens and early 20s, is miraculous!
