Default Looking at new CX-30 Sport or Preferred. Newbie

Hi there, I'm a total Mazda newbie and interested in buying a CX-30. Can you please give me the pros and cons and what you paid for yours.

I'm comparing it the VW Taos and the Chevy Trailblazer. What are your issues with it, how do you think it compares, what do you love about it?

Thanks,

Mazda Newb

I own the Premium. Love everything about it but for one thing, cylinder deactivation, which only comes on the Premium. When it kicks in, you can feel a slight vibration in the vehicle that is very annoying. If I had to do it all over again, I'd get the Preferred just for that reason, plus it's cheaper.
I've been getting 34 mpg ton mine which I think is great for an SUV..

If you're still considering the differences or someone else is, I found this video very helpful:

I have a 2021 CX-30 premium, turbo. We have about 6k miles on it. Awesome car. I think the transmission could be smoother, but for the money (34k) it is great. We also own a lexus gx, mercedes G63 AMG and a mercedes GLC43 AMG and I love driving this car. Great in the snow, sufficient power, good handling and a very nice interior. I compared this to the subaru crosstrek and the toyota rav4. I think this is the best of those 3. I have driven some very nice cars including our mercedes, porsche 911, panamara, mercedes C63s, etc. and I can say this cx-30 turbo is a really nice car to drive. The one negative possibly is that the gas tank should be bigger. I am getting close to 30mpg, but this still only gets me about 300 miles before the light comes on.
