2014 CX-5 with 100K miles
I currently own a 2017 Mazda 6 and have loved everything about the car. I recently have run across a 2014 CX-5 with 100,000 miles and am considering purchasing it for a daily driver for a daughter. I've read many of the threads but am curious about issues that may be hiding. Based on my 6 I have 80,000 miles on it and wouldn't think twice about buying one with high miles now that I have driven it this long. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the maintenance records you're good to go.
If not, it's wise to check how much meat in still on the brakes.
Good idea to change transmission fluid, spark plugs, drive belt,
and do a 'intake valve clean'. Changing the PCV is a nightmare
going by the Youtube video, but a good idea as well.

There should be a shop in your area that has ASE Certified Automotive Technicians that offer a 100 point+ plus check of a vehicle. The charge is generally for a one hour labor rate? If you are not really DIY savvy this is a good idea to invest in this inspection. Even if you are somewhat DIY experienced you would at least get an idea what needs to be done and if you are capable of servicing yourself. If you do this service you can ask if the shop would allow you to have a peak under the vehicle when they have it up on the hoist! You can judge somewhat where the vehicle has built its road history?
