2014 CX-5 not starting this morning- 2.5 L engine
HI Folks,
I get in the vehicle this morning and it fires up and dies immediately. All lights on display are coming on, not a battery issue it seems. I try it several more times, it starts up quickly but dies right after start up like there is an issue but I cant tell where.
-we have never had this issue or any issues with this car.
-I drove it last night, parked it, and this morning gives me this issue.
-I did the gas pedal to the floor with foot on it and other foot on the brake pedal and it fires up high revs and then dies immediately like when I tried to regular start it
-This car has never had an issue.
Any ideas out there on what it could be?
Thanks

Your Mazda "WILL" have information in the ECU that you can retrieve that will give you some idea what is going on. Just because there is no check engine light only means that the ECU has not trigged a full DTC but it il will have info in the I/M or permanent DTC file.
You should get someone with a professional grade diagnostic scanner (not eBay or amazon Bluetooth) and some diagnostic training to enter your ECU and retrieve all the information.
Otherwise, you could just use a scanner and see if you find anything. If not, then go back to ^^^^^ above recommendation
