Default 2016 CX-5 battery fitment

I'm thinking of purchasing the EverStart Maxx 35N battery from Walmart for my 2016 CX-5 GT. But, I'm worried about the dimensions. The Walmart site says the 35N battery is "Non-BCI group size", and it lists the length of the battery as 9.60", whereas the OEM battery has a length of 9.06". Apparently, Walmart doesn't carry a BCI-standard size 35 battery with 640 CCA, which is what I want. When I plug in all the details about my 2016 CX-5, the Walmart site does say "Great news! This item fits your vehicle." next to the 35N battery.

Some questions:
1) Would I be able to get the 35N battery to fit properly into my CX-5? Is there some "wiggle room" in the battery cradle and sleeve that will allow a slightly longer/wider battery to fit?
2) Do I absolutely need the 640 CCA battery, or would it be OK to buy the (cheaper) 525 CCA model? How many CCA does the CX-5 GT need? I live in Georgia (mild winters), and the car is parked in a temperature-controlled garage most of the time.
3) Should I forget about buying at Walmart? Sure, it's convenient and relatively cheap, but I want to be sure I get the right battery that will fit and last for many years.
