2016 cx5 mileage
I am looking to purchase a used 2016 cx5 touring. I am wondering what is the highest mileage I should consider? Do dealerships purposely ask more up front because they expect to be negotiated down?
thanks

If it's in good to very good condition, I like the 12 to 15 thousand mile per year guide assuming a mixture of highway and city driving. Less than 48K is great. Over 60, not so much. The 2021's will be out soon.
Now-a-days, a truly reputable dealership will show you their invoice for the vehicle and try to tack on a 5% profit. Best thing to do is check the target Vehicle against the Kelly Blue Book value and if you can, learn the Red Book value for it (what he paid). Your deal is going to be somewhere in between. There are a lot of fish in the sea, don't hesitate to walk if they won't be reasonable. You have a crippled economy now as a barganing tool also. Get it inspected by a mechanic you trust before you seal the deal. Happy Hunting!
