Default 2017 CX-5 End of Year Pricing - What to Expect?

Hey folks - in the market for a 2017 CX-5 Grand Touring 2WD w/Premium Package and wondering if anyone has any insight on going rates given the time of year? Thanks in advance!

Quick update. Though I haven't physically been in to any dealers and only dealing with "internet sales" at a variety of dealerships, I was quoted $35,440 all in (incl. tax and "fees") for a 2WD GT w/premium package. This is using 0% for 60 months. This seems way out of line, particularly considering this is a 2017 model and we're at the end of year. Would love to get a temperature reading from folks who have recently purchased. HATE the car buying process!

I got the same car a couple of weeks ago. It was white, and had the cargo cover installed. I got it for $29,300 + TTL. I had my own financing, they said I couldn't get the 0% at that price. I don't know what your location is, but TTL is not the same in all locations.

I was quoted $31,698 before taxes/fees. Again, this was for a white 2017 2WD GT w/premium package and roof rails, the latter which I didn't necessarily want. Basically just over $1K off MSRP which seems weak. This was at 0% for 60 months however and I am not sure if dealers discount less with lower interest rates.

You may check https://www.mazdausa.com/shopping-to...and-incentives with your zipcode. In my area Mazda has a $1250 rebate and I got another $500 off for loyalty rebate.

Thanks. My understanding is the promotions cannot stack (i.e. I am ineligible for the rebate if I choose the 0% rate).

What part of the country are you in Tone? I bet that can affect your pricing. I too hate the negotiating process with dealers but am shopping for year end deals for my first cx-5.

$35k sounds crazy high to me. Best price I was quoted yet was $30k for a 2017 GT (AWD, but no premium package so basically a wash for what you are looking for), silver paint, tax/tittle/tag not included.

Some things I am finding to get the best price;
- make sure you include the biggest Mazda dealers in your area, could be a state over
- it helps if they have a ton of cx-5’s sitting on their lot
- make sure they have the car you want on their lot (not getting it from another dealer)
- let them know you are shopping other dealers

I saw the first 2018 on a lot yesterday, hiding in the back, not even prepped yet. So I looked on line and got an “internet price” from a major dealer for $31.4k. They say a “couple of weeks” for them to take delivery of my color but now I want the ‘18. As a bonus, the one feature I wanted from the premium package (memory seat/power passenger seat) is standard on the ‘18 GT.

good luck!

Thanks for your note and advice. I'm in the Southwest. Was the $30K you were quoted out the door or off MSRP?
