Default 2021 CX-5 vibration on idle issue

Recently I just bought brand new CX-5 a week ago and I can feel that car is vibrating on idle in D shift.
it seems not normal compare with other demo Cx-5 i have driven even with other brand’s car and this is such an annoying !
Even my 10yrs old Golf does not vibrates like my cx5. I turn my car in to dealership for couple of times but they are keep saying that the diagnosis results are normal in return.

Is this a normal for cx5?? or common probelm? This is my first experience with Mazda.. and quite surprising..

It's not normal, perhaps you should try another dealer who will dig deeper than just running a diagnostic check. I had a 2016 CX-5 and now have a 2021, neither had this issue.

It hard describing such things on the internet and a forum without some reference to what you think the vibration is? There are also countless ECU adjustments during startup and also normal operations that can effect the engine characteristic's. Also the fuel type and brand and octane has an effect.
The basic thing I would like to see is at least a short video of a glass of fluid on your hood or dash and watching it at idle in and out of gear. And this would be AFATER the engine cycles through and is completely warmed up which is about 5-10 minutes of average driving NOT idling in one spot.

My 2.5 idles so smooth I forget it on at times and other times I think damn a bit of a rough idle. Yet I checked everything as I have the equipment to do that including EGT's and AFR. Which I also seem to theorized is why the idle smoothness changes. This is in line with inconsistent fuel composition or formulas at the different gas stations. Another big influence is the IAT comparing adjusted coolant temperatures and the ambient. If it is 70F+ and the coolant is 190F if I am in town and the IOAT's are 10-15degrees higher then the ambient at a stop light the engine will idle rougher.

What I am suggesting is to return to the dealership and sit with the service tech in your car when you think it feel like it is idling or running rough. This way the Tech will have a better idea where to look if needed.

I am heading back to the same dealer today and should ask if they have looked into with their naked eyes for checking..

Like you said, the dealer asked me to come by and sit together to check if vibrates. But obviously i can feel the vibration on the driver seat when on idle..

FORD has a specific diagnostic tool to measure vibration. Maybe because it is sorta indirectly affiliated with MAZDA one of the Auto Technician may have that tool and can use it on you MAZDA?

Hmm I wonder what they used to check it besides going into the diagnostic connector and reading the ECU? You can't measure vibrations that way. OK so lets try an experiment. Try to get close to empty fuel then fill up using only Chevron 91 or 95 octane fuel. Drive it normally for about 50 miles and see what happens?
