2021 model with WiFi
I just replaced a 2019 CX-5 with a 2021 model, similar features. The wifi is new. What what I can tell, you get a meager 2GB per month unless you go with an unlimited plan from the provider.
How does it work? I've had the car for just a few weeks and the hot spot has no Internet access. It is as if the dealer did not active the trial period.
I'm wondering if this is any better than a hotspot on my mobile phone. That is more than 2GB and works fine when I need it occasionally.

We did the free trial and my wife loved it so we got the unlimited plan. If you pay for 12mths in advance you get a much better deal. The speed is much better than when she used to use her phone's hot spot.

Exactly the same for us, with our 2021 CX-5. Love it, especially on cross-country trips............................. Frank
