Bought mine yesterday as an early birthday present and a general celebration of good fortune having come my way, plus I figured a larger vehicle with great mpg (coming from an '05 Elantra hatch) made good sense for the family.

Hahaha! I chose that name after seeing someone refer to the base model (such as I have) in this fashion. My pocketbook would have me arrested if I purchased the GT with all the goods! The great thing about this design ethic is that even the base model looks beautiful! Kudos to Kodo!

I bought myself a 2wd zeal red touring with the Bose audio and sunroof last week. It was off lease from Mazda who used it to show the vehicle before its release date and had 11k miles but was in beautiful shape and certified. Paid $22k and happy with the deal. I've been driving for mpg's and comparing to the computer, which appears to register about 2 mpg's above reality. Still....consistantly getting over 30 mpg in town and as high as 42 on our flat illinois highways at 60 MPH. The audio systen is just terrific!

Nice stripper picture. Agreed, styling is essentially same on all CX-5 models and that's very good.

Bought the 2014 Touring trim a week ago (1/26), with Bose sound system and moonroof. A bit too late for Christmas (but the Chinese New Year is the coming Sunday XD).

It's beautiful, smooth, and the 185HP is very nice!!
