This is indeed a very very high price. I would understand something in the $200 - $250 range with labor, but $495!!!

Also, as a side note, some luxury brands like BMW charge a yearly subscription fee, which is beyond ridiculous

Not sure about 3rd party radio replacements. Frankly speaking I would just get a good phone holder, but that's my personal preference of course.

Perfect point. It will not work with those features as far as I know.

so let me get this straight, I have a 2018 CX 5 Gran Touring and I would like the ability to send text messages while driving. if I have the upgrade installed, I will lose some capabilities of the NAV system? is that correct? has anyone had it installed? and if so are you happy with results?
