Try a Grand Cherokee - all the controls but on just one stalk (not lighted either).

I can remember the 80's GM cars had all that is on the stalks now PLUS the cruise controls. I think the idea now is to have everything close to the steering wheel as a safety measure so that your hands are almost always on the steering wheel. I have another curiousity about my CX-5 and that is how it knows when you don't have your hands on the steering wheel. The other day I was testing the lane assist and took my hands off and let it drift a little bit. Before the lane assist even came on, I got a warning on the display to "Put My Hands on the Wheel".. Is there a sensor in the steering wheel that detects this?? Just curious, not a complaint.
I have about 2K on my CX-5 now and with the exception of the crappy XM radio, it is the best car I have ever owned. Handles great, has good power and has all the bells and whistles. Definitely would buy another one. (Notice--I AM NOT A MAZDA EMPLOYEE)
