Can I use supertech coolant in the CX-5 or do I have to use fl22? The reason I ask is because the fl22 has phosphates but the supertech does not. Are the phosphates necessary?

What does it say in the owner's manual? What does it say on the radiator cap?

It says FL22. Use that and nothing else.

It is very unwise to mix any other coolant with Mazda's own ( FL22) coolant.
