That's is not what I said or implied.... I am not going to argue with you.... will see what happens when you need to get what "YOU" think should be covered with MAZDA warranty!
And the paint LOL...well that is also a argumentative warranty that has many factors consider if it would be covered under the warranty. So really it is clear you have only a partial thought of how a warranty works with a new vehicle?
Some of you think it is as easy as asking the next guy up the ladder...it also does not work that way. I suggest if you want to assume policy go work for a new car dealership for about 6 months and learn how it all works?

BTW what seal are you referring to?? The taillights are multiple parts assembled together and completely sealed unit. The gasket or seal that you may be referring to that goes behind the tail light has nothing to do with sealing the interior of the tail light!

Bottom line is we could talk about this argue and debate all day and night on this forum and thread but until it happens to you personally ITS ALL SPECULATION what a dealership and MAZDA would do for each separate case having to do with a possible warranty concern?

The OP will be the only one in this thread that will tell us what is resolve was and I hope he does get them replaced at no charge!!

You don't have to argue with me. Your previous post says it for you. You really are a condescending coot my man.... Great way to garner good will on the forum, NOT.

Lucky for me, my car has been rock solid. Not expecting to need much of anything done over the 3yrs I will have it. In the past I have had no issues with the various Mazda's I owned getting items taken care of. For example on my 1988 Mazda 323 GT I had some dust inside the instrument cluster. It looked terrible and was in no way caused by me. My cars are always immaculate. They replaced the cluster without any issues when I asked about it. If you have had issues with things which should have been replaced I would suggest trying another dealer (if you have more than one available). I don't have to work for a dealer to know how it works. Owning cars and having them worked on is all it takes.

81 responses on this forum I looked at all yours...( I recommend to any member going to debate with another to first go look at stats) you guess, speculate and say things that are not the best advise on many topic's and I think you more IMHO go with the flow of what the majority says on the forum, forums or internet even if it is not empirical in nature, correct or other wise full of flaws? You say I am "condescending" ok let me tell you why I think you think I am that way to you that is to say in your opinion... Perhaps because I call it like it is and pull no punches....LOL will not post things that can not be verified as good DATA or empirical, wise or generally just sound information to at least think about? Generally when someone like you has no real supported information they start calling me names! LOL I am use to it. As far as good will on this forum, you have no idea how many members PM daily asking for advise. LOL
Oh and lets see your thread about your projects on your MAZDA....wait ...there is none. LOL

OH and read this carefully.... I have wholesale shop accounts with 2 of the biggest MAZDA Dealers in Northern CALIFORNIA. I know both service and parts managers very well and one fleet manager. And I am sure had I pursued one of them would have replaced my rattling taillights as a courtesy. But the thing is the ones both dealership had in stock NIB off the shelf all rattled. LOL We all laughed never the less they even told it is not a warrantied part.

My turn!

I could personally care less what your history on the forums is, or isn't. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and whether, or not, you have a project on Mazda thread doesn't make your opinion more, or less, valuable. I am certainly not going to waste my time perusing your posts (my time is far too valuable for this). What I can offer on the forums is my personal experience, when I have it, for the question at hand. In this case I certainly do have experience dealing with Mazda on warranty claims. My characterization of your personality developed after reading several of your replies to various people of the forums. "Calling it like it is" is one thing. Being rude/bullying is another. You take the second tact in most of your posts. The idea of a forum is to share knowledge and experience. If we all acted as you do the forum wouldn't last long as folks would look elsewhere for the information they need.

I am sure you will want the last say so have at it. I am done with you. Ignore will be activated!

Default CX 5 condensation in rear tail light, 2021.5 model

I just purchased a Cx 5 Signature model and have driven it 70km only so far as per clock. The car is parked inside my dry garage, but there is condensation in the passenger rear tail light. The car has never been in a car wash and I have only used a quarter of tank of the original gas given when I got the car from dealer. I am in Ontario, and this is October, 2021. I am very disappointed. Did anyone else get this fixed under warranty? Any tips?
Thanks

Rain condensation in rear cx5 2021 tail light.

I wonder if that is a heat thing- is it really cold? Maybe the heat from the turn signal bulb vs the outside temp? Does the condensation resolve as it sits overnight inside the garage? Mine never has that, but I am in Georgia where the climate is very mild.

condensation in lights: i have never had that problem in 50 years of driving cars. The headlamps in old Mazdas had problem and the led lights cost $1000 a headlight. I hope dealer fixes mine, its only got 70km on it. I have condensation in rear tail light only so far.. when you open rear hatch the water runs down the gutter into tail light. There is a big gap between body and tail light and no gasket to keep water out. I will put tape around light. This is a $50k plus car! Will be back to Toyota if dealer does not fix under warranty.
