Had similar problems with a 2016 cx5 diesel. Air intake manifold cleaned by the dealer, everything was dandy for a couple of weeks and then all the lights appeared on the dash again, limp mode followed . Changed the MAF at near £200 and again all well for a few weeks before all the dash lights appeared again, though no limp mode. After reading various threads I changed the brake pedal
sensor at £20 - original Mazda part, approximately 3 months ago. No issues since.

Were you getting code P0101 MAF out of range?

Do you know the Mazda Part number of the part you changed?

Cheers

Default P0101

Apologies for the late response . I hope you got sorted? Yes I was getting the p0101 code . Thankfully I haven’t had any issues since replacing the brake pedal switch. I don’t have the part number but the Mazda dealer will confirm that for you. It was around £20.
All the best, Mark

Default P0101

Hi, I have the same problem with my Mazda cx 5, mate can you give more details about this part please? I changed already many parts in my car, but the problem still coming back, I am nearly fed up, if you can give more details about that part, that's would be very helpful.

Who are you asking, there are many posters with problems in this old thread. The poster who replaced the pedal switch stated that he didn’t know the part number. Most of the posters here have not been back to the forum in months or years, they won’t see your query.

Hello. Basically, this error occurs because the readings of a MAF sensor go beyond the limits they should be in. These limits are calculated from data from several sensors, e.g. the position of the accelerator pedal, the position of the brake pedal, the readings from the engine speed, the readings from the pressure sensor in the manifold. If some of these data are wrong, then the limits for MAF are also wrong. I come to the conclusion that everything is length too much soot that separates from the engine.
The gentleman who changed the brake pedal sensor rather had a defect as an exception and should not be the same at all. I personally cleaned everything, software upgrade at dealer. And subsequently replacing injectors and fuel pump. 7000 miles now I have no problem. Pay attention to how many kilometers the car goes into regeneration. You can see it from the i-stop menu. If it's about 50 miles away, change your injectors and clean everything

This thread is almost two years old and the OP hasn’t been back to the forum in a year. He won’t see your post.

Start receiving P0101 (togetgher with SCBS etc.) couple of days ago. Car went in limp mode, after restart error went away and came back couple of km later...

Today I drove my car to the shop....exhaust camshaft wear as many others. CX5 2.2d skyactiv facelift (2015).
