CX-5 P0126 Code ( Coolant )
Hey guys,
Hoping someone could possibly chime in. I got rear ended about a month ago and it required my entire liftgate to be replaced. Since getting my car back, I had to go back to the place that fixed it because one of the tail light bulbs burnt out. I'm also noticing that my automatic windshield wipers are not as sensitive as they were prior (unless I'm going crazy).
Now, Today, I was driving home from work and got the check engine light. I retrieved the code, which was P0126. has anyone else gotten this code? It does seem like my coolant is at L (or just below)... I'm wondering if just adding more coolant will fix this issue... My father also mentioned to me that he saw a couple drops of coolant on the ground by my car...
Any help or advise is appreciated.
P.S: Trying to determine if this could at all be connected to the place that fixed my cars liftgate...
Thank you for any help.

I found a TSB relating to my issue and it seems that the description matches exactly what I'm experiencing..:

Does anyone have experience with bringing in their vehicle for TSB related work? Does Mazda Cover it? MY car only has 40k miles, and it 2019... needless to say, I would have quite a bad taste in my mouth if I had to foot the bill.. Thanks for any comments/advice

ya, brother. You're probably right. Hopefully that's all it is. It seems like an analog piece, so I think that associating with the mechanics who fixed my liftgate is out of the question...
Have you ever replaced one?

Not on a Mazda and not in about 25 years.
