CX-5 Pricing

CX-5 Pricing
I'm planning on purchasing a new CX-5 in about a month and I'm wondering if anyone has any favorite pricing websites/articles/tips/etc. This is my first time purchasing a new car and while I feel like I understand the basics on getting a good deal, I'm still not trying to take a bath on this purchase.
Admittedly, I went into this planning on buying a new 2015, but I've only test driven a 2016 (the dealer gave me the old "oh we don't have any NEW 2015s and they'll be hard to find anywhere", so I just drove the 2016 for the hell of it and figured I'd keep searching for a new 2015)
Any information is greatly appreciated and I'm sure I'll have more questions in the coming weeks.

I like the following:
New Cars, Used Cars, Car Reviews and Pricing | Edmunds.com
https://www.truecar.com/#/
New Car Deals - Autotrader
Best New Car Deals - Consumer Reports
Best New Car Deals in Your Area - CarsDirect
I just did a lot of research recently in buying my CX5, so I still have many of these websites saved. That being said, the best pricing I got was by going to my local dealer, getting specific pricing on a specific model/accessories, and then shopping that around to other dealers. If another dealer can beat the given price (even by a little) they will usually do so. Of course you can then take that lower price and shop it back to the original dealer....round and round until you find a price you like.
