CX-5 stuttering at cold start
Anyone notice the 2.0l misfiring upon a cold temp start. Meaning its a little chilly outside and upon starting the vehicle it stutters for about 5 seconds and then revs up. Sometimes I start it and its fine, sometimes it stutters and sometimes it doesn't do that loud engine noise start and starts like a normal car. Wierd.

Haven't noticed cold start in Wisconsin
It's been below zero every morning since I bought my CX-5 on Monday here in Wisconsin. I haven't noticed a cold start but I also park it in the garage overnight. When it has been parked at work perfect start up. The ignition light is always green.

Mine hasn't done it but its in the garage where it doesn't get below 50. Plus I only have 207 miles on it so far.The loud engine at start up is due to the fuel cycle to warm up the engine emissions faster. On these direct injection engines during the initial cold start up it give 2 fuel pulses per cycle to warm up the catalytic converter faster for better emissions. When the engine smooths out it drops to one fuel injection per cycle. Maybe its not doing the warm up cycle at start up?

mine sputers for about 5 sec frequently
I live in a benign climate. Gets into the 35-45 F range. Mine sputters for a few seconds. I've wondered what it would do after a night in the mountains. Not totally convinced it's a problem yet. I've got 10k on my 2.0L AWD
