CX5 Disel Turbo SUV
I purchased a brand new CX5 Turbo Diesel from MAZDA Wollongong in 2016. I had it serviced according to the service book without fail. Last year I was informed that these vehicles were having problems, that had been occuring since 2012. I was informed that when they reached approximately 130000kms they would blow a head gasket/or motor, overheat and would could have difficulties with the loosing water and power. Could anyone give me some further insight to these issues and if there has been a class action against Mazda for this. I'm very frustrated that MAZDA have continued to build and sell cars since 2012 knowing that there was a serious problem with them, but did nothing about fixing the issue up until 2018! This is a very costly expense for their consumers.

Your situation sucks...but
Any potential consumer of any product should be researching before they buy, not after.
Unlike the "old days" of word of mouth, all that information was readily available to you on the Internet in 2016.
Spending time researching products is never a waste and it just might save you headaches and money.
Chock it up as an expensive lesson learned and add that to your knowledge base as you start looking for another vehicle.
Especially if you are choosing another diesel.
Good Luck
