CX5 Sigature 2019 break pads and caliper
Has anyone looked at changing the calipers/breaks on the Signature 2019 CX5? The red calipers will go great. Any suggestions on how to go about it or where to get them?

I used a product called G2 epoxy paint kit to do calipers on a few cars.
You can either remove the calipers to do what I call show quality job, or leave them in place and use painters tape to cover areas that do not need paint.
This product will hold up quite well and you can touch up with brush down the road.
Also realize there are pre-painted caliper covers that you glue over the OEM pads.Just something that never interested me.
Good luck

How long will a paint job on caliper last? Is it something that needs to be done every few years?

I have used G2 on a few cars. However, these were my "Toys" that were only driven around 7K miles a year.
I did use it on a Toyota Venza that we had for 5 years. I was able to touch up small chips etc during that time. Looked okay from 10 feet away.
Good luck.

If you want to go all "Broadway" on the job; have them powder coated. The calipers will have to come off and possibly be disassembled for that though.
