Has anyone read the 0-60 time for the CX5? I have thoroughly researched this vehicle and haven't found an answer. thanks.

The official time in the CX-5 sheet posted on line is 7.3 seconds.

It that is true, why spend the extra cash for basically nothing. I may go with the Honda Accord 2.0T Manual shift which is I believe 5.8 seconds, or the Camry XSE V6 which has about the same times. I am not necessarily insisting on a SUV.

MrBillMazda, I highly recommend buying the Camry.

Too bad they did the press launch in the snow in Canada. We got no real seat of the pants reviews yet. It's got to be faster than 7.3 seconds.

But I think that is part of their point. The car is more than a 0-60 number. It is about the overall experience. And yes, I would say that the car does 0-60 in roughly the time Mazda states.

In this case the whole point of these reviews is the new turbo engine addressing the other engines weaker (but sufficient) power and driving around around in snowy mountains provided no insight as to how much better/more powerful the new motor is. Most of the rest of the car is the same as last year so we learned what we already know. The car is awesome and the 4 wheel drive system is pretty darn good.

From the sounds of the reviews, the biggest improvement has been the suspension tuning.
