Default Dash and door pieces

Hi - this is my first day here and I’m excited to learn, and when I can, to contribute.

I have a project in mind to swap some interior trim in my ‘19 Sport. Here they are:

I’m not a fan of the silver plastic on the doors and on the dash. However, I’ve learned that a ‘19 or a ‘20 Signature trim level has genuine wood trim that would be compatible with my car.

I found a VIN for one but I don’t know what the part numbers would be.

I’m hoping for any advice from the forum about this. What might the part numbers be or where could I find them? Do you think that I could buy the parts themselves and not, say, the entire door panels or the entire dashboard?

IF I manage to get a hold on these pieces I’ll be back - looking for more advice - on how to remove and replace.

I hope this is an appropriate post. Please let me know if it’s not.

Thanks for reading along.

John

PS: Here’s a CX 5 with the Signature trim level:

absolutely. You my friend are far and few. many will buy mods but you seem to want to go beyond what is easily available and be "CUSTOM"! I know of many core member that while they don't all do that to their Mazda have done it to various vehicles they have owned over years.
Here is my thread on my Mazda. Lots of pictures. LOL
I hope you do the same and post LOTS OF PICTURES on your Mazda projects !

There are also a large number of vendors who supply trim overlays, even complete dash kits.
For wood, carbon fiber (my favorite) or just about anything you want (faux wood & carbon fiber as well).

My 2020 grand touring trim level is a gray wood look material, but it is not "wood" and I'm not certain any of the OEM "wood" trims are actually real wood.
You can get the part numbers from various online websites like the one I list below and find out for sure.

Well, my Location says Maine and last time I checked we were still part of New England...
Though the Northern part of the state might argue that point.

Default Ha!

I had a friend in Houlton, but I guess there’s a lot more places north or east of there!

Houlton is close to the "Frech-Canadian" territory line
That's where you hear more French spoken than English and a fondness for Quebec and poutine is favorite food.
