Drive Seat Belt Scratching Center Console
Hey all!
I purchased a new 2016 CX-5 Touring (Release 1) and I've had the car for about 8 months now and I'm starting to see some serious scratching where the belt buckle rubs up against the plastic of the center console. Picture below. Does anybody else have that problem and should I take this back to the dealership to resolve?
Thanks!

Center console belt scratch and peeling steering wheel
Hey! I have just the same problem + a peeling steering wheel on my 12 months old 2016 CX-5 OPTIMUM. That is what the highest spec on the 2.2 Diesel 175 bhp 420Nm, Auto AWD are called here in Europe. I took my car back to the dealership, they replaced the steering wheel, but not the center console. Gave me a tip about some adhesive fabric for me to put on. I told them that my earlier MB E-Class Coupé had that mounted as standard.. Now, today the centre backseat belt wont latch. The centre position has been occupied, 10 times? EDIT: The dealer fixed it with a new part, but agreed on the severity of such faults. Anyhow, pleased again :-) Was a bit annoyed when i wrote the first time ;-)

Dirt had been easier to get rid of. This is some kind of waxy surface treatment that peels of. It happens in some rare occasions. No dirty hands or sharp cleaning solutions. But a very nice dealer gave me a new wheel, covered by the warranry. :-)
