Fuel Cap Won't Open

"Kiwi" (/ˈkiwi/KEE-wee)[1] is a common self-reference used by New Zealanders,[2] though it is also used internationally.[3][4] Unlike many demographic labels, its usage is not considered offensive; rather, it is generally viewed as a symbol of pride and endearment for the people of New Zealand.[5] The name derives from the kiwi, a native flightless bird, which is a national symbol of New Zealand.[6] Until the First World War, the kiwi represented the country and not the people; however, by 1917, New Zealanders were also being called "Kiwis", supplanting other nicknames such as "Enzedder".

whatever .... rolmao... your response was to an obvious by the use of language responding to an English speaking member living in USA, so reading old English description of car parts and knowing this is not the first time using that old English vocabulary describing car parts on this forum and the location you placed as living my response was done jokingly, but I can see this world like every thing else has gone to hell!

Fuel door stuck - Solved
Fuel cap DOOR* won't open. I have a 2017 CX-5 with about 7k miles. The door isn't frozen. I've had someone else try and push/pull on it when pulling the cable. The cable is obviously loose (the fuel cap release goes way too far back) but I can hear the cable actuating the release on the door, it just won't release. I think the cable somehow came off the mechanism on the door. I've also tried release it with a credit card. Can anyone offer any insight? Can someone provide me a photo of their inner fuel door mechanism release? Everything online isn't high quality enough for me to see. I am really low on gas and I need to try and fix this before tomorrow. Thank you.
We have 2021 Mazda3. Fuel door does not have a cable release, just push release.
Try inside driver door lock release 1 or 2 times. It worked for us and fuel door popped open.
