Heat set at feet, coming out front vent?

Heat set at feet, coming out front vent?
Hello, have a 2016.5 CX-5 Touring.
When I have the heat set at the feet, and only the feet, hot air comes out the top front vents but nothing down below. Has anyone else had this issue?
