I have a 2021 CX-5 that I bought in May. It defaulted to showing avg mpg to the left of the speedo and fuel gauge on the right. I was able to change them and now on the left I have average mpg, current mpg. On the right, I have trip, compass.

My wife just bought a 21 CX-5 this past week (yes we have two!) and I can't remember how to change the default config to what I have displayed.

P.S. I'm not talking about toggling the info screen for what the speedo displays.

You can do this by pushing and holding the brightness adjust peg for a couple of seconds

 

Learned something new today. No idea you could change what was on the sides of the speedo.
