Default Infotainment screen issues

Hi all

I have a 2021 CX-5 signature and the infotainment system / screen will randomly cycle off and back on. Seems to happen about once a week with no set pattern. Is this a common thing? I have seen a few posts online but nothing new.

Try holding the volume button down for a few seconds.

What does that do? System reset?

There are multiple ways to do a reset, this is supposedly one of them.
You can also do a factory reset using the display screen when it's working.
And there's always taking it to the dealer and have them do it as it as under warranty.

Since your vehicle is still in warranty, book it in with Mazda, most likely it needs a software update.

Dealer updated software. I'll keep this topic updated.
