I recently purchased a 2014 CX-5 at auction and there are a few issues I’m trying to sort out.
The first and most annoying is that the stereo/backup camera unit seems to be dead. The screen is just black but all the buttons around it light up. None of its functions work either.
The second is the rear hatch won’t release. I know there’s a manual way to do it but that’s not really a solution.
There are wires under both front seats that are unhooked at the connectors and just kind of hanging loose that could possibly be causing one or both issues??
Everything else on the vehicle seems to work flawlessly and it drives well.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!
