Is there wiring to this, or is it just changing out the mirror and that's

Used to be a place where you could access install instructions for Mazda accessories, but I can't find it now. Anyway, installation involves changing the mirror, running wiring under leading edge of headliner over to left A-pillar where wiring harness lives to connect it to. Hardest part is getting the A-pillar cover off without damaging the retainer clips.

Default service dept told me today it’s working - picking up later today !!!! yay

I have the 2017.5 M6 touring .
Now its being assessed because the home link new rimless mirror isn't working that the dealer installed, I purchased from Mazda in the deal, Mazda is saying it's not compatible this has been 90 days this week , and i know i saw on here someone installed it in A-pillar with harness. I think it's a faulty mirror.
I know this can be done by the way part number is 0000-8C-H02 .
