Yes and no, 110101001.
~high pressure air, from in front of the radiator and AC condenser flows up into the
ducting on/in the underside of the hood. Look there. The openings above those
openings enters the 'hood' duct and it flows across to in front of the air filter intake.
I missed noticing the underside of the hood, who looks, right?
Clever Mazda engineering we rarely see.

well sorta accurate, but ....I leave it at that. Online there is some information on engine engineering design from MAZDA.

I do, just go look at my thread , dozens of times a year. LOL
Notice the garage thermostat and my current intake air temperature. That simple kitchen temp gauge is alway in my intake charg boot for out of the car IAT observations. LOL

I just took these photos for this response.
