Default Mazda Connect and NaviBridge

Just wondering if anyone was able to successfully send an address (or point of interest) from the NaviBridge smartphone app to the Mazda Connect navigation system. I get a message that the NaviBridge app connects to the navigation system and also a vibration feedback when I send the address from the app, but nothing pops up in the Mazda Connect navigation system. Would be nice to be able to do this from the NaviBridge app.

Fingers crossed that we get the Apple Carplay/Android Auto retrofit early 2019. Then there will be no need for the Navibridge.
