Default Michelin Cross Climate tires in 19"??

So far Michelin has not produced their excellent "Cross Climate" all season tires in 19" sizes.
And So far I don't need new tires, likely not until 2023.
BUT, I really want those tires in 245/50/19 for my 2019 CX-5 GT Reserve. I'll sometimes be driving in snow when I go skiing and winter camping and they rate as SNOW tires as well as all season.

Michelin has made a real breakthrough with this Cross Climate tread pattern and compound. (Plus, they look badass and "badassery" is in fashion for hot SUVs.) ;o)
Michelin knows a lot of compact SUVs and other vehicles use 19" tires so probably we'll see them in the months ahead.

So you're going from 225 to 245? I was planning on going to 235. Why the two size increase, if i might ask? Too wide isn't always the best in snow.

245 is the widest practicable on the OEM 19" wheels. And too, I don't want to go wider. I want noticeably better handling and 2 sizes up will do it.

As for snow, with the Cross Climate 2 tread I'm not worried. If you look at the Cross Climate 2 tread you will see what I mean. Plus it has a snow rating moulded in the sidewall. Not bad for an All Season tire.

I bought those tires in 17"s for my Crosstrek. Excellent handling tires. Only had a little bit of snow last winter, but they did well. Very good in wet/rainy weather also.

Default Cross Climate tires

Good to get an independent opinion on those tires. I also got YouTube info that they handle well which surprises me given their aggressive tread pattern.

You need to look at the Cooper SRX tire. Cooper makes a really good tire and I ran these on my F150. Super quiet, excellent traction and, very sure footed

Thanks peety,
I looked at them and I'm sure they are goos as COOPER makes high quality tires. But I've been spoiled by the amazing snow ability of the Michelin Cross Climate tires and I 'gotta" have them they make them in 19" size by 2023 at the latest.
