Conrad.... Yup as an Military brat I had to have the crew cut. Hated it. So as a teenager I did the rebellious thing and grew my hair. Sorta hated it because I was rcaing motorcycles (short Track,& Motor-x ) and it was always a task to tuck it into the helmet. Then going into the working sector to be professional during that time period it was back to clean cut hair. Then when I started to open my own business, the hair grew out again but only to the shoulders. In the Automotive Performance world this was acceptable and actually the men's fashion for the time. Then I moved to Santa Cruz CA. And this time the hair went all the way down below mid back. Wore it in a ponytail most of the time. This was better part of 10 years. And once again life prevailed met my wife, she has long beautiful pacific island girl hair. However not as long as mine. She said I had a choice, either I cut my hair clean cut and tidy or she would cut her hair short. So here I am 12 years into the marriage, hair is still clean cut and tidy. The good thing is she cuts my hair, so I have saved $2880.00 plus tips in not having to pay to get my hair cut. The sad thing is life is life and now there seems to be a semi less dense area on the top back of my head where hair use to grow like grass??? LOL

Actually, I really don't want to figure anything out from your post except why the 'short' story on your life in response to a joke about hair? Perhaps you felt that not enough folks were reading the thread that you reference above?

Generally speaking your responses are pretty much what I would post, so I tend to just read the thread and move on.
As for the picture and story.....
I thought that maybe this thread needed to be lightened up a bit.
As long as we are discussing moon/sunroofs, I'm also not a big fan. But, it seems to be a standard feature on luxury brands and trim levels. Hard to find a car in those price levels without one, However, the wind doesn't blow my or my wife's hair around like happens when the cabriolet top is down. So there's that.

My Wife keeps her hair short. But then she's had a MX-5 for the past 29 years.
