Is there any benefit to people who don't like and never listen to music of the last few years to update the music data base?

 

Appears the answer is "I don't really care one way or the other."

 

It's free, it's easy, just do it. Even if you can't find any new music that you like (I really find that hard to believe) not all of the old music has been added to the previous updates. New updates may add info on old music.

When updating Gracenote db, I show the latest update to be June 2018. Is that about right?
However, when updating in the vehicle it does not upload what I downloaded. The version in my vehicle is .07. It does not give a date. Is .07 the same as June 2018? Some other Mazda sources say latest version is .09.

 

I just looked myself. The newest update on the Mazda Connect page does appear to be June 2018. This is the version that I have in my MX and CX. I'll have to look at what the CX reports (MX is put up for the winter) the version to be and get back to you, if I remember that is.
