Hello...I have a 2014 CX5 that had a rock hit with windshield and caused a crack. My insurance, Liberty Mutual contacted Safelite and had a windshield installed. In the day it looks fine, but at night going home the glare and sharpness of the headlites of on-coming traffic is ridiculous. I called and Liberty Mutual said they [Safelife] should have installed OEM glass.

Safelife Mgmt ordered replacement glass 'supposedly directly from Mazda'. When the tech from Safelite arrived today he had the same glass as they installed originally and said that its "their version" of OEM Mazda windshield [Solar Lamisafe Tech].

My other windows in my car are all Nippon Safety.

Not a car guru, but I know I didn't go blind at night with the original windshield and now driving home is horrible. Can someone explain what Safelite is saying, please and thank you!!
