you can buy it from amazon for way cheaper than $85 just make sure it has the latest maps update in the description before buying it and make sure it's the same model sd card as the previous one

I Checked my maps update yesterday and found out mine expired the day before. Too bad they don't send us an email when there's an update available. Now I have to pay for the 3 yr subscription :(. Any work around ?

Last time I updated, I checked the box which promised to alert me for the next update. Still, I did not receive notice of this most recent update.

I am not updating past the 3-year subscription since I am using Google maps all the time now. I have a magnetic vent mount and it is very convenient.
