Hey all,
Brand new to the forum and to Mazda. Just picked up a new 2016 cx-5 grand touring. I love it so far. As a former subaru owner, I'm very pleased with the change. However, I need some input. When I went to the dealer two weeks ago, we were looking for a fully loaded cx-5 with the parking sensor option. However, the dealer only had grand touring models without that option. They told us they could install it with no problem and we settled the deal.

Well two weeks later, we had the sensors installed. When picking up the vehicle, I was astounded by the horrible option. The sensors are mounted on the paint of the rear bumper in black. There is a microphone on the rear pillar of thr passenger side. There is no integration. They scuffed up my bumper and bent the plastic pillar on th e interior. I'm obviously going back. But if anyone has a picture of what this option would be from the factory or details on how it works, that would be great. My thought is they threw on an aftermarket part to get the deal done. And I paid for factory option. Obviously I'm livid.

I've included some pictures I took this morning of the sensor unit. It's an audio vox unit. There is no integration to the backup camera or touch screen which I find odd. The mounting of the sensors is obviously wrong from what I understand they should be in the black trim. And the microphone? The thing is obnoxious and I could have done better than that.
Can anyone verify that this is all wrong? It looks like threw on some cheap aftermarket system.
