Most of the time, I can figure out what the icons mean. But on this, I'm lost. In the infotainment screen when on navigation, there are three tiny icons on the bottom right border of the screen. Looks like one is battery charge, the next might be cell phone signal strength and the right most looks like a stack of pancakes from the side.
What do the pancakes mean?

No points for claiming it means time to find some maple syrup

Bacon, It means that you need some bacon to go with those pancakes.

Speaking of pancakes. I was reading a news story the other day and there was a woman in the story and her last name was Pancake. That's a great name! I prefer waffles though.

Perhaps your question can be answered here. Mazda Connect (mazdahandsfree.com)

I've been curious about that symbol as well. I've not had any luck finding out what it represents. I even sat through a couple of you tube videos. Anyone?

I posted a question about this on the CX5 subreddit after I got my new Mazda last month. (I wasn't clever enough to call it pancakes though.) I received a reply saying:

3 points·1 month agoThat’s the signal strength for the vehicle’s embedded connectivity- which is used for the WiFi hotspot and enables the vehicle to be locked/unlocked and started from the MyMazda app.

After reading this thread yesterday it finally popped into my head it might be wifi, since battery strength and cell signal are in the same place.
