Default radio no longer showing artist and title of songs

I hope this is an easy fix but for the past few weeks when I listen to the radio, the title and artist of the songs are not appearing on the screen.

I really don't know what change was made but I really need to get it back. When I listen to CDs the artist and song title appears, it's just on FM radio.

My son is a special needs kid who loves music and every day he asks if I have fixed the problem.

So any suggestions would be appreciated!

Try changing the HD setting and see if that works. I think I read somewhere else that that was the fix.

Like JonW said 4.5 years ago, take it out of HD mode!

Paris1 - and how do I do that? I’ve even had it back at Mazda and they can’t fix it? How do you ‘take it out of HD mode?

Well it would help if you include here such vital info as year, model and type of radio (standard or Bose). But since we don't have that info, I'll just say that on my 2013 non-Bose headset there is a button on the lower right hand corner of the touch screen (in either AM or FM mode) that says (wait for it!) HD. I'm going to assume that later model headsets have this same feature in some form since Mazda has been touting the HD (analagous with "totally useless" IMO)function since the inception of the CX-5. And if you doubt your headset has this feature, you can always crack open the owners' manual, which usually lives in the glove box on the lower right portion of the dashboard.

Paris1 - goodness, I’m not sure if you’re trying to help me or mock me. I would like to say I appreciate your help but your sarcasm is disgusting. If you don’t want to help people nicely perhaps keep to yourself. Smartarse.
