Random air squeal noise on driver's side.
Hi everyone,
I’ve got a ‘21 CX-5 Carbon Edition Turbo that has Mazda OEM window visors if it makes any difference. I’ve been noticing a whistling noise that’s either near the steering column or driver’s side window. It only happens for a second or two and sounds like a slight squeal noise of air, almost like when you squeeze an inflatable doll and it fills up again with air. It could even be compared to a dog toy being very lightly squeezed. I’m thinking my car needs the TSB work done on the weatherstripping of the driver side door. It’s not consistent and seems to happen when it’s a windier day or sometimes when I turn. Anyone else have similar issues?

My past experience with window visors on vehicles is that they tend to make odd noises.
They add an additional wind deflection surface, and they often don't stay completely secured in place.

I'm feeling the same way. It's not the end of the world and I may just try to get the dealer to do the TSB on the weatherstripping since my car is still under warranty.

Figured I would give a quick update. I recently changed/added metal pedals and a foot rest to my car. I have not heard the squeaking noise since. I'm leaning towards the noise originally coming from the old rubber brake pad rubbing against my sneakers.
