Rear View Mirror Auto dimming?

Rear View Mirror Auto dimming?
I have recently purchased a 2022 CX-5. There wasn't an anti-dazzle lever on mirror and there were no buttons. The mirror was replaced by dealer with the same characteristics.
Could this be an auto-dimming mirror and if so, how can I get it to function?

If you have an OEM Mazda powered mirror, there should be some kind of light that tells you if it's on on the bottom right. The lower trim models get the basic mirror with the lever underneath. There is a "frameless" rear view mirror that the higher trims got, but I don't have any experience with it. Can you attach a picture so that we can see what you are referring to?

The auto-dimming rear view mirror in my CX-5 has no indicator light or buttons.
At the front of the mirror (towards the wind screen) is a light sensor and if you look closely you can also see a small circle on the mirror (middle top) that is semi-transparent where there is also a light sensor. If you cover the light sensor at the front with your hand during the day you will see that the mirror becomes darker.
There is also a small, thin wire at the front for electricity.

Thanks for the replies. As I generally don't drive at night (and am fighting a flu) i haven't tested by driving.
However, today, with the CX-5 engine running and sitting in my garage with the lights out as well as the headlights off on the the CX-5, I see that if I have my CX-5 interior lights on and turn them off, I do see that the mirror image of the rear window slowly becoming focused. So there is something happening with the mirror and the lightening changes.
As well, there is an electrical cable running to the back of the mirror from a unit mounted on the interior of the windshield behind the mirror.
I hope to test this in the next few days in night traffic but for now I would say that I now have an auto-dimming mirror that does work. If not, I will update this post.
