Repair/replace lower grille on front bumper cover?
Our 2016 CX-5 Sport has a little damage to the lower front grille - the plastic one on the bottom bumper assembly (the part circled in yellow below):
But I don't see a way to just order that grille piece. I only see this entire assembly that needs to be painted and installed:
Is there any way to order just that middle part - the grille slats - and replace that? Or do you have suggestions on what kind of glue or whatever I should use to fix it?

So you're saying just the grille part isn't sold separately.
I'm not paying that much money to get an entire new assembly painted and installed. So anyone who has repaired this before - suggestions? Best glue or whatever to use? I'd prefer not to just use black duct tape.

Complete assembly. Its all moulded plastic. You can't remove the lower grill section with cutting it out.
Have you tried a bumper repair shop? Might be able to be plastic welded, depending on level of damage

It can be plastic welded but no guarantee on how long that will last (depends on how good the person doing it is).
You will still need to remove entire section to accomplish this and then put it back on.
Meaning you'll have the same labor costs.
I'm not entirely sure how much money you'd save by getting it plastic welded.
You could also purchase an aftermarket grill piece (plastic/metal) cut it to size and screw it in.
A quick online search will result in many suppliers of these.

That's not a bad idea. I'll check around and see how much that would cost. Based on my admittedly amateur eye, it doesn't look like a very tough job at all - not a lot of damage.
